Volunteers
Volunteers are the are the unsung heroes of every Slobberfest Event!
Without our helping hand volunteers, we couldn't do even half of what we plan every year for Slobberfest!
Unfortunately we almost never have enough. If you would be interested in volunteering to help at one of the booths during the event, please contact our Volunteer coordinator; Angelika Hastings by phone (716) 679-5131 (call or text), or by email using the following button;

Some areas that may need Volunteers are...
Carnival Games
It's a lot of FUN!! But a lot of work too. We are constantly busy at the Carnival Games and we always get to see happy smiling faces because of our "Winner Every Time" policy! We have 6-7 games (depending on the number of volunteers we can find) -- 2 of which were new last year! We need a minimum of 1 Volunteer for every 2 games (though perferably 1-2 people per game); so at least 3-4 volunteers. We could also use help during set-up and for clean-up. |
Center-Ring Dog Games
It takes a lot to keep these games on track and organized! The more help we have for this the better it is for everyone who is watching and who are participating! Unfortunately Mr. Belmondo won't be able to be with us this year... he always knew what he was doing and always helped keep us on track. We will miss him, but the Games Must Go On! So if you can help... Please contact us! |
Set-Up and Decoration
Set-Up is mostly done on the Friday before (so this year, it will be on Friday the 12th of July)... and includes putting up the tents and distributing the tables and chairs to the tents that need them... however a lot of the decoration must be done the 'morning of' because of overnight wind or rain. A lot of the event goes undecorated because we don't have anyone who's been able to oversee this part of the event. This year's theme is Celebrating our 25th Year of Service! It's our Anniversary & Birthday all rolled up in one! We could use a really creative volunteer who will start now to think of ways we can decorate the event (with as little $$ spent as possible) and then come the day before and the morning of the event to make sure the decorations go out without delay. |
